Energy and Water Efficiency 

• Installed solar panels at V Hotel Lavender to harness renewable energy, reducing reliance on grid electricity and lowering carbon emissions by over 800 tonnes—contributing to long-term energy cost savings and sustainability goals. 

• Equipped four hotels — Hotel Boss, Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre, V Hotel Lavender, and Value Hotel Thomson — with Volt EV chargers, supporting the shift toward low-carbon transport and reducing overall carbon footprint. 

• Minimised single-use plastics across all properties by introducing 500ml wall-mounted dispensers for toiletries and providing filtered tap water, promoting sustainable consumption habits. 

• Implemented energy-efficient infrastructure, including LED lighting, motion sensor systems, and energy-saving air conditioners and appliances, to reduce energy consumption and optimise operational efficiency. 

Waste Management

• Repurposed used linens that are no longer suitable for guest use, extending their lifecycle through recycling or reuse in non-guest-facing functions. 

• Provided clearly labelled recycling bins in all hotels to facilitate the collection and sorting of recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, and tin cans. 

• Disposed of defective or outdated electrical appliances responsibly by depositing them in electronic waste depositories for proper recycling and environmental compliance.
