IT Executive

Job Description

  • Assist in maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and software in our group of hotels and head office.
  • Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop, laptop, network appliances and software.
  • Perform user account management and prepare laptop or desktop for new staffs.
  • Provide application and infrastructure technical support to hotel staff and head office employees.
  • Develop simple trouble shooting checklists for our hotel staff to follow before contacting IT department or the vendors.
  • Co-ordinate with multiple vendors to ensure that various systems (e.g. PMS and Keycard) with dependencies are implemented at the same time or in a timely manner.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Assist in the implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the hotel’s data and systems.
  • Ensure all PCs and laptops in our hotels have up-to-date anti-virus software installed.
  • Perform end-user daily data and network backup.
  • Perform documentation on IT procedures, system and network configuration.

Job Requirement

  • ITE / Diploma Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
